Hotel Hellsten is situated right in the heart of Stockholm, within walking distance of all central buildings, tourist attractions and key locations. It has great access to local transport, with the tube station of Radmansgatan only a block away, while the local area offers an exciting and trendy environment of restaurants and bars of all types and styles.
The rooms are all individually designed to reflect their natural advantages. Bold colours and textiles give many rooms a romantic but aesthetically pleasing environment in which to relax and unwind. All have modern facilities such as TV's, broadband internet and irons. The bathrooms are stunning and in excellent condition with black Greek imported slate tiling the walls and under-floor heating providing the luxurious feel.
No restaurant is available but breakfast is served in a glass conversatory to the rear of the building.
The building dates from 1898, and offers a traditional Stockholm Town House exterior of stone and grand windows overlooking a narrow street. The hotel's founder, aim of keeping the old style of typical bourgeois family flats is evident throughout.
A small lobby with rugged wooden flooring, provides a warm and friendly welcome to a spectacular hotel. Adjoing the entrance hall is a seating area of with fashionable leather chairs and tables, although plans are for this to become an exclusive lounge bar.
This hotel is without doubt one of the best Boutique hotels in Stockholm. However it could very easily be labelled as Hip or Designer, but what stands out is the individuality and exceptional attention to detail both in the level of friendliness from the fantastic staff to the unique standard of the rooms.
