Hotel Bentleys is situated in the very heart of Stockholm at the top of the main thoroughfare, Drottinggatan. Walking the length of this partly pedistrainised street will allow one to find shopping, restaurants and nightclubs as well as the regal and historic quarter of Gamla Stan at the other end.
The rooms are simply decorated and medium in size. The charming architecture of the building can be seen in each room through tall ceilings and large windows, with period features in many. They are decorated with light grey walls and white woodwork, some rooms have parquet wood flooring while others have carpet. The bathrooms are small but bright with white tiles throughout. Both rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition.
The breakfast is served on the 4th floor in a brighly coloured and warm room. On the ground floor sharing the building is a smart and contemporary restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes for lunch and dinner.
The hotel is a traditional late 18th Century stone and brick building. It is elegant and dominating with some nice architectural features. A small and cosy marble floored lobby welcomes you on arrival. A large traditional reception desk and gold framed pictures enhance the character of the space.
A really charming hotel situated in the centre of Stockholm's shopping and cultural district. It has real character and offers many beautifully restored features such as the original elevator. A sauna is found on the third floor and an internet connected computer can be used in the lobby 24 hours a day.
